We all have a story, and it’s a good one. Better Stories was born out of a passion to help others tell their stories well.

Team Members

Krista is a natural communicator who loves to tell stories through a variety of mediums. She is a photographer, graphic designer, Children’s author, writer, and creative strategist. She has held senior marketing and communications roles at the Church of England, Alpha Canada, World Vision Canada and is currently the Director of Advancement at Northwest College and Seminary. She holds an MA in Interdisciplinary Humanities and has a passion for being an ally of and advocate for people relegated to the margins of society through the transformation of culture.

Jakob is a university student with a passion for connection through visuals and creative projects. He has been an artist for as long as he has lived, working to bring scenes to life on any canvas, paper or social media page, through sketching, painting, and designing. He has been a photographer and social media manager, and loves travelling in search of an adventure to uncover the stories of others and build his own.
